Where did it go ?

This month has flown by. I am starting to get nervous with how quickly time is going. I haven't touched sides this month with work and house chores. I sometimes feel all I do is work :(. I have n't even updated my blog, mind you, I haven't spent much time on the PC at all.
I have had a fab week at home with the kids, I was due to go to Dohar tomorrow, but landed up cancelling my flights as the client I was going to see did not come to the party with my Visa.
I am actually quiet relieved I am not going because then I get to spend a fab weekend with my lovely family, instead of sweating my butt off in 40 deg plus.

Got together with my scrap buddies on Wednesday night, it was wonderful, I don't think any of us got much done at all, there was way too much chatting, laughing and cake eating. Rach is a fab baker, and as for her Mum, Gill, well, what can I say, like mother like daughter, and we all look forward to what is on offer :) I am so grateful for this hobby, it has given me an opportunity to meet some wonderful people and there are great friendships in the making.
This is what I started on Wednesday night, I actually did most of it at home, landed up shuffling paper for ages.

I did these two LO's about 2 weeks ago, when my Yummy Studio Calico kit arrived.

This LO is in memory of my Housekeeper Mavis, I got very sad news from South Africa the other day, saying that Mavis had passed away. She was part of our family for so many years and I don't want my children to forget her.

OLW - Second LO

This is my 2nd LO for this weeks challenge at OLW. My Studio Calico kit arrived on Tuesday and I just had to use some of the paper. As you can see I am hooked on paper flowers.

OLW turned 2 so the challenge is to scrap using the word two/2 etc and this time 2 LO's. So I am officially a 'Wordster', as this is my first time submitting on this challenge blog. I love challenges, it keeps me focused and going !!!

Paint .....I love paint...

Today I decided to haul out my Making Memories Foam stamps (yip the ones that I am sure we all have but have been in their storage cupboard for ages ) I wanted to mess a bit with some paint, so this is what I created.

Feathery by Tim Holtz

I die cut the feathers from the Tim Holtz Feathery set. I used some Distress Stain sprays, ran them through the 3D industrious embossing fol...
